Manhattan

Manhattan – this neighborhood is said to be the heart of New York City. It is here that the city has its administrative and financial center centered around Wall Street, as well as the most important destination for tourists visiting New York. This is due to the large number of popular monuments and attractions such as museums, theaters and renowned educational institutions. These attractions include the Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero – 9/11 Memorial, Chinatown, Times Square and Broadway. It is also worth visiting the largest city park in the world – Central Park.

The National September 11 Memorial Museum

The 9/11 Memorial & Museum is the country’s principal institution concerned with exploring 9/11, documenting its impact, and examining its continuing significance. Honoring those who were killed in the 2001 and 1993 attacks.

Located at the World Trade Center in New York City, the 9/11 Memorial Museum tells the story of 9/11 through media, narratives, and a collection of monumental and authentic artifacts, presenting visitors with personal stories of loss, recovery, and hope.

Central Park

Central Park in New York is probably one of the most famous parks in the world (if not the most famous!). It is situated in the middle of New York City, Manhattan. If you want to disconnect from the madness of New York and relax for a while, take a walk there and discover everything this place has to offer.

There you will find beautiful bridges, lakes and gardens. There are plenty of benches to sit on and relax on, and for the more athletic, it’s a great place to run or cycle. There is also a zoo and big stages with open-air concerts in summer. In winter, you can go ice skating there on the famous Wollman Rink (also known from many movies).
