The Map includes attacks with a clear pro-abortion motive or messaging. Numerous other vandalism/arson attacks against Catholic churches have taken place, but with less obvious motives.
Centers for pregnant mothers run by pro-life activists were most frequently attacked (39). 27 attacks on churches have also been documented, although this figure may be understated as more than 100 US temples have been victims of aggression as of 2020, but not always clearly linked to pro-abortionists. The attacks on the map are only those “with a clear motive or a pro-abortion message.” Usually they were devastation and arson.
The case of a pro-abortion man caught in the middle of the night in front of the house of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh with a weapon and burglary tools was high-profile.
