Ukrainian airspace is closed to all civil flights as of 24 February. Russia issued its own NOTAM closing its western airspace bordering the Ukrainian border. Ukrainian neighbor Moldova has also closed its airspace to all but essential traffic. A number of countries have also issued NOTAMS prohibiting their airlines from overflying Ukrainian airspace as an extra layer of regulatory protection.
